VISION SYSTEM SCREENMORE THAN
ANOTHER FEED.
Creative people had places to post. Cloud Atmos was designed to give them a place to connect, collaborate and move their work forward.
Conceived and created by John Darko, the app brought profiles, location-based discovery, messaging, projects and a marketplace into one mobile experience.
The ambition was simple: make the next useful connection easier to find.

A REASON.
The interface was only part of the design.
The complete wireframe connected onboarding, profiles, search, projects, messaging and the marketplace into an experience that could be understood as a whole.
AN IDEA.
MADE PROTECTABLE.
John was awarded a systems-and-methods patent for the project. The original design drawings show how the product’s interactions were considered alongside its visual language.
Patent award described from the creator’s account. Drawings supplied from the original design archive.
DESIGN THE THING.
BUILD THE WORLD.
Cloud Atmos shows the same instinct in a different medium: start with a human need, give the idea a shape, and connect the pieces into something larger.
