ONE SKETCH.
A WORLD OF FEAR.

James Wan sent John a pencil sketch: a boy standing in front of a house. It became the starting point for the poster concept and title treatment.

After Sony’s acquisition, the work was handed over to the studio. The original boy-and-house concept carried forward into the released campaign.
